Raught, Doug, Jackee and NathanAbout Us, The Vision, The Goal...
The Raughts began their missionary service with the Assemblies of God in 1989, working with International Media Ministries in Belgium. They worked with a team that produce international Christian TV as well as training missionaries and nationals in Eurasia and Africa to produce gospel programs for their countries.
After ten years in Belgium, they worked for four years with Global Teen Challenge, helping to establish drug and alcohol rehabilitation and evangelism centers in over 80 countries around the world.
Recently, Doug & Jackee have been granted permission to pioneer a creative arts ministry in the Netherlands. The Vision
...is to tap into the European's passion for the arts and to use music, drama, multimedia and other art forms as a vehicle for outreach. The 'arts' is a universal medium which brings people from all walks of life together for one common purpose. By initiating choirs, orchestras, other music and drama groups, we are providing a service for the community as well as developing relationships and trust. We will be able to minister to many who are 'put-off' by the church and have no interest in religion simply by virtue of a common interest and goal. While our role will not be perceived as religious, our goal will be to show the love and power of Christ through our lives and the arts. Our goal ..is to develop working models of creative outreach initiatives and train nationals to creatively develop outreach concepts of their own.
